Rachel Caldwell
Program Facilitator
Ray Caldwell is an all-round creative professional dedicated to mental health advocacy and improving outcomes for children and families in the Black community. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Service with a double concentration in Psychology & Spanish Literature and Language.
Ray entered the mentorship space as an undergraduate peer mentor as a LUCES Scholar in Loyola’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion. She got her footing in the nonprofit sector as Social Media Co-chair on Thrive Chicago’s Youth Advisory Board. In these roles she expanded her passion for improving success outcomes for Black and brown youth that prioritize their whole person thus fostering their personal, academic, and professional success.
Rachel has been with Ladies of Virtue since 2023. In her role as Program Facilitator for Ladies of Virtue she is dedicated to youth mentorship and empowering youth voices in leadership in order to support them in finding creative solutions to complex social issues through intentional collaboration.
As LOV Program Facilitator she works “on the ground” in our partnered schools, administering LOV’s socio emotional learning curriculum to the girls 4th-12th grade.
