Brittany Taylor
Director of Membership and Engagement
From a young age, Brittany knew her purpose in life was to help those around her. During high school, she discovered her passion for mentoring and working with youth. She is forever grateful for finding Ladies of Virtue (LOV), as the program constantly reassures her that her purpose and passion are aligned.

Brittany joined Ladies of Virtue 9 years ago as a mentor. She also served on the Membership and Engagement team where she assisted with volunteer recruitment and the transition of new volunteers to their roles within Ladies of Virtue. Brittany is currently the Program Manager for Saturday Institute, Community Outreach, and Summer Programming.

With all of her responsibilities, Brittany still finds the time to serve as a mentor. As a mentor, Brittany challenges her mentees to step out of their comfort zones, keep growing and learning, and never let anything or anyone deter them from their goals. In turn, her mentees challenge her to do the same, which is why she loves mentoring—because she grows just as much as they do.

Professionally, Brittany holds a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is pursuing her Master's in Public Health and Business Administration.

Personally, Brittany loves to travel. She has a dog named Halo, who is her best friend, and is a member of the National Association of Colored Women's Clubs. She firmly believes in the Golden Rule and lives by the Muhammad Ali quote, "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth," which guides her everyday life.
